About
I believe the most compelling stories aren't staged-they are stumbled upon. As a street and documentary photographer, my work is a continuous search for the accidental moments or a deep dive into long form storytelling. I often trade the option of photographing a controlled environment to the unpredictable of the street or the occurrences of a life as it unfolds while I am documenting a subject matter.
My photography is an exploration of contrast and stillness within a world that is in constant movement. I am dedicated to capturing those unscripted moments that create a beautiful story.
I am particularly drawn to communities in transition and the raw authenticity of the everyday. Whether documenting the soul of Cuba in "Pais Complicado" or the landscapes of New York city, I like to prioritize the human condition and showcase the beauty that is before me.
